Correction of Scars and Removing Skin Protuberances

The correction of scars and the removal of birthmarks, fibroms, warts, and other skin protuberances are carried out by means of a surgical excision, cut, or by means of a laser. These operations are mostly carried out under local anaesthesia – as outpatient operations.

Post-Surgery Care

After the surgical excision, the cut is sealed by stitches and covered by a patch. The cut is kept dry until the stitches are taken out. In case the patch comes undone, it is necessary to re-apply it. The stitches in the face are removed on the 10th day after the surgery; the stitches in the arms and legs and in the chest are removed 3 weeks after the surgery. The stitches are removed by a doctor but, nevertheless, the patients can remove the stitches themselves in the event that they cannot come for the re-bandaging for serious reasons.

Consultations and bookings can be made by telephone or e-mail.
