Medium restrictions: 2–3 days of rest after the procedure

Recommendations

  • Rest and cooling for the first 48 hours
  • Sleep with the head in an elevated position
  • Avoid physical exertion for the first 14 days
  • Return to work usually possible after 7–10 days
  • Wearing sunglasses protects not only from light but also from dust
  • Sunbathing, sauna and solarium suitable after 3–4 weeks

The treatment is not suitable for people with:

  • Acute infection in the eye area
  • Undiagnosed eye diseases
  • Blood clotting disorders

Possible complications are rare and may include:

  • Bleeding, infection
  • Asymmetry or revision surgery
  • Prolonged healing
