What to watch out for

  • A week before the treatment, it is ideal to discontinue medications that increase bleeding, avoid vitamin C and discontinue anti-inflammatory drugs.

Aftercare

Moderate restrictions: You may experience mild discomfort 2–3 days after treatment

Recommendations

24 hours after treatment:

  • Avoid massaging and pressure on the treated area

7 days after treatment:

  • Limit visits to the sauna, solarium and intense physical activity
  • Massage the treated area as recommended by your doctor

Prevention:

  • We recommend regular use of moisturising creams and adequate hydration

Contraindications

Possible complications

The treatment is not suitable for:

  • Persons with active skin infections
  • Persons with some autoimmune diseases
  • Pregnant and breastfeeding women

Possible complications are rare and may include:

  • Mild swelling, redness or bruising at the injection site
  • A doctor should be contacted if significant redness, itching or signs of infection appear days later, or if hardening occurs in the area of application.
