  • For persons with certain neurological disorders (Myasthenia gravis)
  • In case of acute infection or inflammation
  • In case of acute inflammation in the treated area

Possible complications are rare and may include:

  • Mild swelling and redness at the injection site
  • A specialist should be contacted if the treated area is red, very itchy and shows signs of inflammation or infection. Fortunately, these symptoms are very rare.
