Mini-phlebectomy

Removal of visible varicose veins

Are you concerned about unsightly varicose veins?
Mini-phlebectomy removes problematic varicose veins quickly, gently and with minimal recovery time.

INFORMATION ABOUT THE PROCEDURE

What is mini-phlebectomy?

Mini-phlebectomy is a surgical method designed to remove individual varicose branches using tiny skin punctures (2–3 mm). The doctor uses a special hook to pull the affected veins out and the incisions heal spontaneously without the need for sutures.

The outcome is of aesthetically very high quality – without visible scars.
The procedure is fast, can be performed in an outpatient setting under local anaesthesia, analgosedation, or under general anaesthesia depending on the extent of comfort and preference of the client. It usually takes 30–60 minutes depending on the extent of damage and location of veins.
