INFORMATION ABOUT THE PROCEDURE

What is liposuction?

Liposuction is a proven surgical procedure used to remove excess fat tissue from problematic areas. Liposuction is a highly sought-after procedure in aesthetic medicine. It helps to shape the figure by removing local fat deposits that resist conventional fat reduction treatments. It is most commonly performed in the abdomen, hips, thighs, knees, buttocks, arms and chin.
Tumescent vibration liposuction is a modern and gentle method in which fat tissue is infused with a special solution that softens the fat cells and minimises bleeding. The fat is then suctioned out using fine vibrating cannulas. The advantage of this method is less strain on the body, faster healing and lower risk of unevenness. The procedure usually takes 1–2 hours and is also suitable as an outpatient procedure.

Body Jet liposuction (Water Jet liposuction) uses the power of a pulsating water jet. The fat tissue is gently loosened and suctioned without damaging the surrounding structures. This method minimises swelling, pain and healing time. In addition, the removed fat is of high quality and can be immediately used for sculpting other parts of the body, such as the buttocks or breasts.
