INFORMATION ABOUT THE PROCEDURE

What is abdominoplasty?

Abdominoplasty is a surgical solution that restores the aesthetic appearance of the abdominal area – and with it, confidence and comfort. After pregnancy or significant weight loss, loose skin, fat pads and separated abdominal muscles may remain. Abdominoplasty is a plastic surgery of the abdomen that removes excess skin and subcutaneous fat tissue and corrects the separation of the abdominal muscles. The outcome is a firmer and flatter abdomen. The surgery can be extended to include liposuction of the abdomen and hips, or a less invasive option – mini-abdominoplasty. The duration of the procedure is approximately 2-3 hours.
