The Morpheus8 microneedling radiofrequency device is an innovative method that combines radiofrequency heat and microneedles to promote collagen production and improve skin texture. In our clinic, we use the Morpheus 8 device for microneedling radiofrequency, which acts on the principle of combined radiofrequency, has a treatment depth of up to 8 mm and is designed to treat sagging skin, wrinkles, excess subcutaneous fat, cellulite and stretch marks.
It is a medical device that can only be used by doctors. Morpheus 8 has the most stringent medical certifications for the USA (FDA) and for the European Union (EMA). The treatment specialist uses a device with a head in which microneedles are hidden to pass over the individual areas. Moderate restrictions: You may experience mild discomfort 2–3 days after treatment

Recommendations

48 hours after treatment:

  • Do not apply make-up to the treated area
  • Avoid physical activity

3 weeks after treatment:

  • Avoid solariums, saunas and swimming pools.

Prevention:

  • Protect your skin from the sun and use a high SPF cream

The treatment is not suitable for:

  • Persons with active skin infections
  • Pregnant or breastfeeding women
  • Persons with serious skin diseases

Possible complications are rare and may include:

  • Redness, swelling or mild skin irritation
  • Short-term skin sensitivity
  • Small bruises and scabs may appear, but these will disappear on their own.
