  • Duration: Approximately 30 minutes
  • Procedure: Profhilo injections into 5 points on each side of the face. The treatment can also be performed using the cannula technique.

Number of repetitions

  • We recommend 2 applications 4 weeks apart. Results are visible immediately and improve within a few weeks of treatment, the effect lasts for 6–12 months. The treatment can be repeated at any time.

What to watch out for

  • A week before the treatment, it is ideal to discontinue blood thinners.

Minimal restrictions: You can resume normal activities immediately after treatment.

Recommendations

24 hours after treatment:

  • Avoid touching the treated area, massaging and applying make-up.

7 days after treatment:

  • Avoid intense physical activity and alcohol consumption
  • Do not visit the sauna, solarium or expose to intense UV radiation

Prevention:

  • Hydrate your skin regularly and protect it from the sun

Possible complications

The treatment is not suitable for people:

  • With allergy to hyaluronic acid
  • With active infection or inflammation in the area of application
  • In pregnancy and while breastfeeding
  • With some autoimmune diseases

Possible complications are rare and may include:

  • Slight redness or swelling at the injection site is normal.
  • Likewise, the area may be slightly sensitive at the application site.
  • A rare complication is an infection or allergic reaction.
