Ganglion removal

Surgical treatment of cysts on the wrist and fingers

Are you concerned about an unpleasant lump on your wrist, hand or fingers?
Ganglion surgery is a common and effective procedure that removes a benign cyst called a ganglion. Place yourself in the hands of our experts at Perfect Clinic.

INFORMATION ABOUT THE PROCEDURE

What is a ganglion?

A ganglion is a benign cyst filled with a jelly-like fluid. It most commonly occurs in the joints and tendons of the upper limbs – on the wrist, back of the hand or fingers. It often arises as a result of excessive strain, trauma or repeated mechanical irritation. This formation often restricts movement and can be aesthetically distracting and grow to the size of a hen’s egg. It is sometimes painful. With surgical removal of the ganglion, patients get significant relief, plus the risk of recurrence is minimised.
