Dr. Jan Kučera is the chief dermatologist and co-owner of Perfect Clinic Dermatology. He is dedicated to aesthetic dermatology and minimally invasive procedures. He specialises in facial treatments, instrumental treatments and combined treatment techniques. He regularly participates in international congresses as a lecturer or as part of his own training.
He graduated from the Second Faculty of Medicine at Charles University in Prague. Already during his studies, he started to focus on dermatology. He spent part of his fifth year studying in France and also undertook two one-month clinical internships in Africa.
After graduation, he joined the Dermatovenerology Clinic at the First Faculty of Medicine at Charles University, where he obtained an attestation in dermatovenerology. There, he was engaged with the whole spectrum of dermatovenerology cases. He completed international fellowships in Toulouse, Lübeck, Salzburg, Budapest and Barcelona.
In parallel with his clinical practice, he started his scientific career at the Institute of Anatomy at the First Faculty of Medicine at Charles University. He focused on the research of intercellular interactions in skin tumours and skin fibroblasts. He has published in IF journals and after defending his dissertation, he was awarded a Ph.D.
He is an Assistant Professor of dermatovenerology at the First Faculty of Medicine at Charles University, where he lectures to 4th year students of general medicine and dentistry.
